CEACSO was established in 2014 with the mission of empowering civil society organizations, enhancing their performance and impact.

Over time, our focus has strategically evolved to underscore the critical role of beneficiary involvement in decision-making processes and actions that directly affect them as the ultimate recipients. This transition has broadened our scope beyond CSOs, now encompassing a diverse range of stakeholders committed for the advancement of their beneficiaries.

Our journey began with collaborations in the health sector, where we worked closely with patient organisations to enhance  patients’ perspectives. Over time, we expanded our focus to include other groups and stakeholders. Particularly, we extended our efforts into the justice sector, with a focus on amplifying the voices of victims, and placing them at the center of the decisions and actions that impact their lives.

Since then, our mission has transformed to prioritize the strengthening of beneficiary participation. To achieve this mission, we concentrate on capacity building, offer tailored support and engage in collaborative efforts.
